The first 15 seconds are crucial for the infrared elements to reach their optimal temperature, so that when the fan activates, it can distribute warm air effectively. If the fan doesn’t activate after this warm-up period, ensure that the desired temperature on the thermostat is greater than the room's current temperature. The heater won't begin to raise the room temperature until it falls below the set point.
